Hi,
I have a IMAX B5 Charger for Sale !!! Please read the specs below.
Specifications
Operating voltage range: 10.0~18.0Volt
Circuit power: max.50W
Charge current range: 0.1~5.0A
Current drain for balancing Li-po: 200mAh/cell
NiCd/NiMh battery cell count: 1~14cell
Li-ion/Polymer cell count: 1~5series
Pb battery voltage: 6V, 12V
Weight: 280g
Dimensions: 130*80*23mm
Reason for Sale: This unit does not charge Lipo batteries. There seems to be a problem with the balancer. It will charge only NiCd, NiMh, and Pb batteries. I have upgraded to HOT POWER H6016 charger
This charger can charge NiCd, NiMh, and Pb batteries PERFECTLY. No problems at all. This is a delta peak charger... I know some people may ask why should they buy this when they have conventional wall chargers for NiCd, NiMh, and Pb batteries. Well, I believe this is the best charger for regular NiCd, NiMh as this is a DELTA PEAK CHARGER, which I am sure is far more efficient and better than regular wall chargers (which are time based). This will never overcharge your batteries and for the price that I am asking... its totally worth it !!! 8)
Now, you can charge your Futaba Tx batteries (NiCd) in the transmitter without taking them out. It comes with an Octopus connector that has the Futaba Tx charging jack. You can take this along to the field and charge your reciever batteries/tx batteries or flypacks on the field itself using your car battery as power source.
Asking Price: ONLY Rs. 1500 (Power adapter not included) + Shipping on actuals.
Interested parties may PM me or call me at +91 9177722123
Cheers !!!
Saurabh.

Saurabh.
Can you describe the nature of the problem when you try to charge lipos ?
Is is something like a "Connection lost" message ? Because if that is the message, it may just be a matter of the particular one or two battery connectors. I have experienced the same before, and just by changing to different connectors, the error went away.
So the big question is have you tried many different lipos, including different brands ?
Just wanted to make sure you have tried common-sense solutions to this already ;)
Yes Anwar !!!
Absolutely... I have tried doing practically everything... Opened the charger to see if there were any loose connections... tried various batteries... but in vain... they all work fine on my other charger. even tried friend's brand new Lipo..
Actually it starts charging, but then after about 2 mins gives an error " some voltage error " and stops. Looks like the internal balancer is not able to detect the voltage of the cells in the Lipo setting... not sure whats wrong... it was working fine earlier but suddenly one day it started behaving like this... this was about an year ago... since then it has been like that...
Thanks
Saurabh

please check the power supply of the chargers if it is giving voltage error replace with a working 15 volts DC source
I am using 15 v dc supply only (5 amps) Laptop adapter.
Did you try with an other similar power supply to eliminate any errors assosiated with it?
