First of all this is a hobby called Aeromodelling.
People are in this field before introduction of drones!!
Second "Drones" is a suspicious name given to Quads or multirotors but they are actually not!

Third Drone technology is top secret and most expensive.(even Israel,the producer of UAVs, its runway is not on google map!! See )
Here some guys use APM or some advanced flight controller and call them Drone for sake of appreciation
