Why is it priced for 70 k ????
I didn't see anything , that justify 70,000 any way ???...... modellers in this forum had build such copters in less than 10,000. and much cheaper than that.
The cost was so much after the completion of our project, that is why we are giving it away for 70 k.
if u joined this group before starting the project , you would have surely cut the cost by 1/5.....
+1 warriornair :giggle:

70 k this too much Yaar.
Would You Please post the details of your project?
Hmm.. it flies well, but 70k is.. ahem! it's too much.

"giving it away for 70 k" !! Just like the "Scream" painting which fetched $140 million ? What so special about your quad that you are 'Giving it away' and doing favor ?
Does that include your Food Bills, Movie Outings, wastage during 'R&D' (read Re-Search). Common, be practical !! one can get a DJI Quad rotors for same price, and that is with Stabilization and all. Please think before putting such an obscene price without proper and detailed specifications on what you have put in the Quads controls.

Okay, if you're desperate about "giving away" your multirotor, then I think you need to justify the price : Split up Rs. 70,000 and show how much you spent on each part. Maybe, with you in mind, a margin of MAX Rs. 2000 can be accepted.
Guys - Take it easy on the youngsters. Apparently they do not know (or have not seriously thought) about how "products" are "priced". If they stopped and thought for a moment about the same logic being applied to things like mobile phones or even cars, they will soon realize that the first production model of any car would cost 10s or even 100s of crores, and the first piece of any mobile phone will cost again many many crores.
Let them think through the fact that costs of "design" and "R&D" are recovered over the lifecycle of a product, and not with the very first piece made. Alternatively, the first question for them to ask themselves is, what would THEY pay for this, if they put themselves in the shoes of a third party buyer ? At most the cost of components inside, and a 10% to 25% margin towards "assembling costs" and "profit".
I hope the sellers are clear now on how "markets" (or "customer mentality") works. Hope we will see a more realistic price based on this, or the sale being withdrawn.
Seller needs to realise there is no Die hard fan of him who would take anything that the seller sells for any unexplainable price.
Anwar's reply speaks volume. Lets wait to hear from the seller.
There is no need for us to fool you people. Actually we bought each components separately and assembled it. thats why it costs this much . ok.. how much you people are concluding for this tricopter ?
actually we are new to this rcindia... but this is the actual price of our project..
@ADMP - Pls give breakup of parts wrt price.
This will help in understanding the higher cost :)

people here make their own for around 10 to 15k costs ... n some maybe a little more expensive but not evn a third of 70k

this will really help.
I dont really see any problem for the seller to give a price break if he can quote for such a high price.
@ADMP bro
I am building 2 quads along with few spares including all it costed me 15K-18K
Few spares i have:
4 x FC2822 motors
4 x HK ESC
2 x HK board v2.1
Few more still all of these costed within 18k which i am sure. Hence the 70k costing is seriously insane, unless you provide list of materials that you have used. :giggle: :giggle:
