Hello guys i am selling my turnigy 2200mah,this is for those crazy hobbist oly if you are newbie don't buy this.So guys i am selling the battery which is 3s but 1 cell is dead so its 2s at 2200 mah.i did'nt remove any case and the battery is about 1 half month old, i left it full charged unused and some how it swollen and dead.

So about the pricing.
Original cost for 3s 2200mah(on http://www.rcproduct.in/): Rs 1200(+shipping)
Cost of 2s 1000mah(on http://www.rcproduct.in/): Rs 650(+shipping)
My cost for the 3s(dead 1s so 2s) 2200mah : Rs 850(^1000mah@650(+shipping) and 2200mah @ 850(includ shipping))So you do the math you are actually saving
If you want to try out how to remove the dead cell - >
Open the casing you can see it is taped together(the top cell is dead) so remove the (cut the metal link btw battery) and now you are ready to go.Don't worry i have tried it and it works i am also selling more battery like this one is 1000mah 1s and 4500 mah 2s(these two are already modified ill put it for sale)
(i am sorry for the tight price but need money for my project in collage)

i recommend anyone who's thinking of buying a battery please do not go in for the puffed dead cell one. The other one i cant say much about. Also you seem to have missed out the crucial parts -

No of Charge cycles [atleast approximate] on the batteries

That itself could be one reason. Storage Charge Maybe? Which charger did you use ?

Give a voltage readout on all cells[ with a multimeter or voltage checker ] you know just to instill confidence in us. etc,etc.

the reading for two cells is 6.9 volts,as i said its 1.5-2months old can produce bills and also may be 2-3 charge cycle before it got swollen i use turnigy 2s 3s charger,and as you said u can get it from hobbyking,you need to wait for 15-20 days and pay min 8 bucks only for battery and all... you know just saying.Price Rs550 still no one intrested i bettr keep it maybe who knows i may use it myself someday.(like all other some of my crippled batteries :|)

Actually you know what i might actually try that.Make a video for youtube and put it in water,fire etc to just check if it survives .. you know just perform tests might help others and also maybe a warning sign ... but well if i think of it i still have 3 more crippled  :banghead: batteries so this is still for sale  :hatsoff:  (:|~

Dear 1zzz1,

I understand you are bit tight in budget and the battery looks brand new.
BUT, 1cell dead Lipo is as useless as a broken prop /burnt motor/burnt ESC. you can try salvaging out the parts you can instead of selling.I would take apart the cells and use it for other purposes that require less discharge capacity like a handycam!!
Moreover, lipo cells have bad tendency to equalize themselves in a battery and a 1 dead cell will kill the rest eventually.

Basic chargers do not have storage mode and hence kills the weak cell sooner or later. overcharging is out of question here.
If you have any access to programmable charger like a accucel, please post the pic of internal resistance and volts readings. multimeter reading would not be suffice. Internal resistance(IR) is a much needed factor than volts for a Lipo, mostly cells not broken in/cycled properly will have high internal resistance. i have two wolfpack 2S Lipo packs and 1 gives 12minutes of flight time and another with just 6-9mins just because its not cycled properly and its internal resistance got too high beyond normal.
