Hi Vineet.
Good purchase man.. Just a suggestion, why dont you convert this radio to a frsky module.
Check this out..

thanks atul just coming from the bank ha ha, cant wait ,
wow man i has many features , but as i know about module they have their own receivers but it is not looking like a traditional module , i dont think i can fix it with my turngy 9x.
Yes modules have their own receivers.
Actually that's the reason why you should convert to frsky because frsky is an extremely trusted module and the receivers are quite small and cheap.
Turnigy 9x receivers are quite bulky and big and I believe they don't have have a fail safe.
You can definately fix this to turnigy 9x for more details you can have a look at this thread.

Yes you can modify it with the DIY kit which atul has given. But needs soldering and all. and If you want to convert it back , again you need soldering. Better remove the turnigy module and try a frsky module itself. turnigy 9x with frsky module is awesome configuration.
Hi,
I think small down elevator can be fixed by opening the tx and moving the pot of elevator slightly to oposite direction.
need to chck and test.
Sandeep
great sir i was going to ask the same question.let the radio come and we will do some testing , i have to read it out its basic first, like sub trim and all.as that will be my first radio, but i am very aware about electronics.
i am 100 % sure that the same can be done...
i asume this because when i had a tx with manual trim, and just to check how it work. i opened the entire stick mechanism and notice that the stick moves the center shaft of pot and trim moves the rest of the pot. and the trim is hot melted plastic parts inside the stick mechanism. you just have to unwind the screw of pot if used and rotate the pot slightly in opposite direction. while doing this i suggest to do this when tx is switched on and the display menu is visible.
Best of Luck
Sandeep
actually sir , same i was thinking ,will receive the radio tommarow and this will be the first work.
Shippment made. tracking sent though PM
Hi Vineet,
It seems like your inbox is full. I am not able to PM you. Any how, answer to your question (Connecting Turnigy 9x to sim without using any USB cable) is to simply follow the steps from the following link.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1428
Infact, instead of using a usb cable, you connect the audio cable to your mic jack. Its that simple.

Sameer.
