Where are you located in Delhi ? I am in East Delhi.

Hi, I am in South Delhi (Panchsheel Enclave) you can get in touch with me on 9810156358.

Can you help me with Turnigy XK1222 bldc motor ? The motor is described to run at max 7 volts and 7 amps. But Hobbyking customer service agent said you can run it with 1S battery only. Maximum you can give is 4.7 volts.

But I want to run it at maximum 7 volts. How ?

softlink

Sorry, but I have no Idea about this motor, but look at hobbyking site and on youtube, I think a 2Cell LIPO with a compatible ESC should work..

Will let you know incase I find something.

Mohit, Hope you know what you are doing, Firstly you do need am ESC for this motor, and a 2C LIPO

Do you have a Rx & Tx?

All you need to do is bind the Tx and Rx connect the ESC servo lead to the throttle of the Rx this will also power the Rx (provided the ESC has a BEC)

As the max current this motor draws is 7A to be on the safe side a 12A ESC would be good.

Connect the power leads of the BEC (red to red and black to black of battery) this will power the ESC which in turn will power the Rx

The three leads of the ESC can go to any three leads of the motor

And you should be good to go

You cannot run this from an DC adapter

I am not sure till what stage you have reached???
You have my contact number in case you need further help.

Yes I already have Turnigy plush 30 amps ESC. But I am upset to hear that I can't use DC adapter. I don't have Rx and Tx because someone told me to use servo tester. I don't want to control motor speed through remote.

softlink

If you have Servo tester then that you can use but you will still require a LIPO

In that case connect the ESC servo lead to the servo tester and connect the battery to the ESC, the three servo leads to the motor incase the motor rotates clockwise (and you need it to rotate anticlockwise) interchange any two of the three leads and the motor will rotate anticlockwise.

MohitJindal

Yes I already have a 2S lipo battery in perfect condition with the charger. I will find some hacker who used DC adapter for bldc motor. There must be a trick or jugaad.

softlink

Have you tried with the LIPO does it work?

MohitJindal

Not right now because I ordered servo tester today from eBay. It will reach me tomorrow.
