Yes batteries are included they are envie 1000 math 1.2 volts × 4 and it comes with a box and thermocol fit

Sorry for late reply but in rs 5750 you are not getting the batteries but only the radio and receiver
And 5300 is not a big amount for just 7-8 times used radio .it is brand new but bcoz used reduced the price.
