I definitely like the look of this quad. Even more impressive that it has been designed right here in India! Good work RcHub !

I also have a few questions:

1. Is this compatible with ZMR250 PDBs such as the Overcraft? The frame itself looks like it will keep things neat but I like a PDB to reduce wiring.

2. What material has been used and what is the weight of the frame? Considering that a lot of frames are now made of carbon fiber with thicknesses going up to 5mm for the arms, I am curious as to how strong this will be?

3. Are you going to sell arms with protectors for both 18xx and 22xx motors? Which motors do the current arms fit? EDIT: What is the max prop size this frame can accommodate?

4. What about tilt for the FPV camera itself?

5. Lastly, I am looking forward to hearing the price of this frame and spares  (:|~ I am building my first 250 quad soon and this frame seems like a good option.

PS: Are you planning to sell internationally? A good start would be to send frames for review to Bruce Simpson from RCModelReviews and Oscar Liang from oscarliang.net

Here, we will take time to answer a few burning questions.

First of all, as per RcNeil's request, here is a list of the winners again with frames they will be getting.
1. ‘Volt’ and ‘Mirth' by RCNeil21 - 450 Frame
2. ‘Spirit' by subhashjk0508 - 250 Frame
3. ‘Alpha’ by nite - 250 Frame
4. ‘Infinity’ by shivani - 250 Frame

The big reveal, yes, the frames are printed by an industrial quality 3D printer.

To rephrase what was already communicated to the winners,
We believe that our frames our awesome. Not because this is the best frame in the market, but because this will be a community driven product.
This is just the first iteration of the product, and there'll be many more.
We have asked for a review for this very reason, so that we can pin-point the shortcomings and work around them.

The frames will have a rigorous and tight development cycle, meaning that new versions will come out in short intervals.
The trick to achieving that is in the manufacturing process, which allows several changes without any overhead cost. 3D Printing, of course.
This is also the reason that when the frames do actually come out, they'll be cheap, and by cheap, I mean really cheap, keep an eye out on this thread, as we will soon make a new sales thread with the pricing details, and post a link here to.

Now to answer some great questions by SK1701,

The first iteration of the frame is not compatible with the ZMR PDB's, but that feature is already on the list.
The frame is made with high quality ABS filament, that paired with witty design, makes the frame really strong, and it weighs less than a ZMR250 frame does.
One more thing I'd like to add is, if it isn't too strong for you, you can easily add a ZMR Carbon Fiber plate at the bottom, and then nothing can break it.

There is a variety of options available for the arms which can fit motors of any size. The length of the arms can also be varied to allow for bigger propellers.
Of course, you can buy arms separately.

The fpv mount in the front allows for some amount of tilt. This is one design aspect that still is being worked on, and we are hoping to get feedback from you guys to develop it further.

The sales thread will be started soon, and we are sure you'll be ecstatic when you hear the prices and some other sales related options.

Hey thanks or the update, the 250 frame looks really good giving it zmr parts compatibilty will make it even better.
It will be a very affordable and durable frame to enter into race quads then.

Waiting for the 450 frame reveal ;D
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

We at RcHubIndia, promised that these frames will have a tight development cycle, but promises are just empty words without any action.

To make you believe that we meant it, we have already listened to you guys, and upgraded the frames to support ZMR plates.
And these will be frames that we will be sending out!

How great is that?  ;)

We will soon be make a discussion thread for the frame where such updates will be made, and people can give their suggestions and share their experiences.

Enjoy!

The wait is over!

The frames have been shipped to the respective winners and should arrive soon.
The tracking numbers will be pm'ed to the winners.

We will soon release a tutorial which will talk about how to put the frame together.

Do share your review of the frame once they arrive.
We will be launching a sales and discussion thread today, so be sure to check those out.
The discussion thread would be a good place to put up reviews of the frames, or you may put up more formal reviews on a separate thread.

Are you as excited as we are?  ;D
