As requested by you, I am sending you a pack of large kebab skewers instead of the glider. These skewers not only bigger in size (as compared to what I sent you the last time), the pack has double the quantity.

Will despatch via DTDC and send you the tracking number. Enjoy!

I am afraid, that the prize winner informed that he does not need my item.  ;D It will be offered to Aeromodeling Club of BE&SU (Going to be IIST).

Again Kind VC has replaced his crafted Glider with kabab Skewers.

FindVikash replaced his ESC with battery.

I dont blame akshay or myself that gift is not up to the mark or replacement item  needed, but a question about the selection of needy person. :headscratch:

Perhaps one thread be good for collection of items and another thread for the gift takers queue for each individual item :headscratch:. At least Usefulness will be higher and optimization of gifting may be better. At least no replacement will be required and each item and be useful to the gifted person.

:help: Needs comments (May be in main thread containing voting). :help:

Kalyan has a very valid point here, however, I don't want to deliberate or elaborate on it. Is this the response that we had in mind? I doubt it. Mr. Administrator please note.

VC Sir,
It is not the responsibility of Anwar Sir alone. Actually perhaps we make his selection work harder as we have not framed  and expected the rules and validity/justification.  :headscratch:

If, I would be in place of Anwar sir selection work, I perhaps cannot select which he made. The work is very hard. Each and every participant profile and posting is important and need to be reviewed. Such a tough work. In this case. Moreover, the winner have to one as single thread.

Anwar Sir, please dont misunderstand my earlier posting. It's not about the selecton process but the review of your thread pointed above. I don't know how much participant have voted  in your thread or replied.

Thanks

I think the Administrator relies on a computerised random checking / selection system that is done through a website - so no one is accusing him of a wrong selection. It is the luck of the draw.
As far as I can see, the winner has not ASKED anyone to replace his gift (except me - and I'm OK with that as I have a long relationship with Akky - he is as old as my daughter, almost! ;D). Akky has simply expressed his desire for an ESC and Findvikas has decided to oblige him with an additional gift. So, where is the problem? He is happy, Vikas is happy, Sujju gifts Akky a 450 Heli and all ends well.

Kalyan, if your gift has not been appreciated and has been refused, I understand how you feel. You tried your best, now be graceful, bow out and learn a lesson. Simple!

I have a few things to say
1st Kalayan sir ...i refused the wire because it was of no use to me as i no longer use hot wire cutter...and i also have a bundle  lying around.....I refused because Did not require them

I did not ask vikas bhaiya to offer me the esc It was he who changed  his offer ...

and regarding the glider i had a personal conversation regarding the skewers with sir those bamboo skewers sent to me by vc sir were exceptionally good and were not available in my town thats why i asked ....IF it could be replaced. ...

If Anwar sir wants he can choose another winner and i I would he happy to back out
I will send the things back to their original owners ...who can give it to the new winner

and if VC sir wants i will make the payment of the kebab skewers  and he can gift the glider to the new winner

I think the thread is misleading a lucky person to unluckyness.....
now everybody take the deep breath and do not exhale until i post another comment
It will surely chill out everybody...
and akky i think Mr kalyan was talking about the selection process to be modified....you should have accepted his gift in a kind gesture and pass it on to someone who needs it ...its that simple nothing to be taken as bad....just chilll

akky

and kalyan sir i really appreciate your gift  and the the gesture u made by involving yourself  .......A gift is a gift no matter its small or big/.....the fact is  i dont take things  even as gifts which will lie around with me uselessly

i am not greedy ,not a devil, and so on but if doesn't want them and if there are no takers then count me in and i never owned a glider so would love to have one.
i just have a rc car as of now somewhat new.
I am really looking forward for administrator's next step( :salute:)

NOTE:
if you have a random check then plz count me out since i never win lotteries  :banghead: (not even a game of housie  :P)

i agree with kalyan sir
why not create a queue of people who might need a particular product
in case of a contest prizes can be exchanged among winners according to necessity a welcome change which i have never seen where things are gifted.

I see nothing wrong with someone saying "item X is not going to be useful for me, you can consider giving it to someone else, or use it for a similar draw later on.. BUT I THANK YOU FOR THE KIND OFFER :) ".

We will leave the current discussion at that.

And if we want to pool up again, we can do another draw ;D  There is nothing more satisfying than giving something away to a needy person.
