Let is not inflate post count with these   If you want to give away, just pick people randomly (based on number of posts etc), and contact the winner in private. If he does not want it, pick another one, and announce only the final winner.

We don't want to flood the forum with "I am in" posts.  It is understandable when an LHS does it with a competition for a tagline or "tell me why you like us" etc.  But individuals doing the same just sounds awkward.

While your gesture/intentions are to be appreciated, we have too much of these going around lately, and the prizes need to be significant to warrant focus of the forum on such things.  Let us just discuss more RC related stuff instead.

My intentions are not like that sir.I actually had some stuff which i wanted to giveaway to people and I was quite excited about it.you can understand my situation sir.

Whether it is "I am in" or "coming up with a codename", I believe it would inflate post counts.  Why not just give it to people who PM you for the same, and pick a winner form those ?

a lot of people may not enter till 2pm as only 13 hours are given to them

Please take it as a guideline for such future small item giveaways to request people who are interested in the item to PM you within a certain time period, and pick one from the interested folks.
