Hi Experts,
I gather that home-made nitro fuel is primarily 80% methanol and 20% lubricant (with maybe 2-5 % nitromethane optional). Now the lubricant most  guys advise is Castor Oil. This is basically a medicinal product. However, there is also " Castrol " which is a branded lubricant available at petrol pumps and hardware stores.
Which one do I use as home-made fuel ? the wrong one can damage my engine !  In case of Castrol, if any other (substitute)  lubricant can be used, may please advise. In case the medicinal Castor Oil is the correct component, can some expert confirm this ?
Many thanks...

Please use Castor oil for a glow engine.

Castrol is for 2'strokeand 4'stroke petrol engine. Don't mix the two types.

Enjoy

Thanks Asupan.

I was somewhat sure it was Castor Oil, but then some (non-aeromodeller) guy confused me about usage of "Castrol" as engine lubricant.. :hatsoff:
