Can anyone help me with an online shop or RC hobby shop in Delhi that sells methanol in small quantities (1-5 litres)? I am looking for cost effectiveness while buying RC fuel. 

P.S.: I know rcskyhobby.com sells tornado nitro fuel but that is quite expensive 4L @1600/-.

An Industrial chemist can arrange it for you ~Rs. 500 for a 2.5 L pack.

I have about 20 L in the hangar. If you want are most welcome to take some.

PS: That would be just methanol. If you're looking for fuel, you'll need to arrange castor (and optionally nitromethane) separately.

are there any grades one has to look for when buying methanol ?

one guy quoted 2.5lt sealed for 600/- and another loose for 90/- 1 lt ?

90/lit, cant say of what impurities, some guys use it; they would be able to comment on the performance
LR (Lab Reagent) grade is fine.
HPLC expensive over the top

like visible impurities or chemical stuff

1. what about lube and grade(quality), castor oil or klotz or mayuraa chemical stuff ?
2. After run oil/lube and any local alternatives ?

need fuel for my cox sure start 049 (planning a electric to glow conversion).

1. Plain castor, works for me. Klotz and Mayuraa chem have synthetic additives which have their own advantages.
2. After run from anywhere is good. Singer machine oil works great as after run and glycol (coolant) works well for cleaning up gummed parts.

cox 049 will most likely need nitrometh given the cylinder volume. You might want to speak with Sundaram sir for guidance on the cox. Speak with Ethiraj sir (Mayuraa) for nitromethane

LR methanol - Check (for now but need to replace with economical one)
LR nitromethance - Check (need to check rpm with zero nitro then may be 2-3%)

Got LR nitro-methane 250ml for 395/- (5% tax inclusive).

Most likely source for castor oil ? as all the kirana shops and marts located near my office don't have them   .

Castor oil is best, so far, it helps to keep engine clean, and can be cleaned by cheap usage washing powder, than petrol or diesel, due to Castor oil , other lubs leaves hard carbon even spoils piston , due to long time left over uncleaned carbon
