Hi all,

I am a first timer in gas. I need help finding the best 2 stroke oil locally available? Currently I am outside India and is planning my vacation mid October. Would like to buy some and bring here for me dle20 as its very rare to find and expensive here. And please tell me if I might need two kinds for engine break-in and normal usage. Help requested.

A model aircraft two stroke petrol engine lives
an easy life - constant throttle settings , clean air and
babied by the owners .

in contrast a two stroke utility engine - used in two wheelers
lawn mowers / brush cutters spends its working life
under varying throttle and load conditions and working
in  far dustier and grimy conditions.

90% of two stroke engines in India use Servo 2T
so it should be more than adequate for your precious DLE.

Hello all

If you all are looking for an option of crude oil based 2t oil, you could switch to synthetic based oil. The use of synthetic oil is also recommended by most GAS engine manufacturers including DLE.

If you all may consider the synthetic oil for your gas engine, please see following link

Happy landings.
