Hi Guys,

I got a butane torch lighter from DealExtreme. But it came empty(for safety sake they do it). Now where do I find the Refill can for these? What kinda store stores these? I stay in bangalore, so if anyone knows a particular place in bangalore?

I need it to glue coroplast as specified here and many other sites:

Thanks,
Vinay.

b/w are u into recumbent cycles n stuff ?
Today might be a great and wonderful day. It depends on you.

No sahil, I want to buy a refiller can for my self. They come in like those shaving foam cans. Like these: http://www.nextag.com/butane-refill/shop-html

Last time when I got a can, I was like in 5th standard, and I cant remember where in bangalore I got it from. Brigade road or something.

Nah, I am just finding a way to form the strongest glue joining for coro. It is for my Tea racer build. ;) http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/tea-racer-build-thread/

No, the Tea Racer as per Mugi site is a coro plane. Iam adding lots of unnecessary spice to it to make it fun.

sahilkit

actually the retractable landing gear n stuff should make the model really cool, so which one MK I, MK II, MK III?

Vinay when I was in bangalore I used to buy the butane can from local shops at Brigade road. I now don't remember the name of the shop as it now two years. If you search you will surely land one.

I guess visiting a couple of shops would be the best way to find this information.  When you do so, kindly do update here, for the benefit of others.

Ujjwal brought one for me and costed 55 bucks. He himself dosent remember where he got it from. Should be able to refill my lighter almost 10 times and should last me atleast 2 years.

I also saw one at the chinese elctronic store - where they sell all those cheap chinese stuff like rechargeble lamps, hair drier, mobile charger etc.

Its actually very small and not good enough for flashing large areas of coro. Thats what I have and I got it for 130 bucks from Deal extreme.

It does not come filled with gas. But getting from rediff would be better as you dont have to add an additional 1.7 USD for making it registered.

I just recalled and bought for my self. It is 'Soubhagya Store', 60 feet Road, 6th Block, Kormangala, Bangalore

Click here for Google Maps location pointer.

I also got a Pen-like butane torch. it melts Depron like water melts thin paper

Whether tat rediff product can be used to flash a large area of coro? Can we refill it at home itself or we have to go shop?

No, its not suitable for flashing large areas of coro. It almost look like the deal extreme link I gave you. You can check out the videos there.

On the rediff website it says : It features a refillable gas tank. It refills just like any refillable cigarette lighter.

You can refill at home.
