I have the Sig Astro Hog, fitted with a 15 cc Evolution Gas Engine. That is a big model, 72", 3 Kg

Here's it's younger brother

sanjayrai55

This is a Dancing Wings Laser Cut kit, bought from Ali Express. It cleared Customs without being confiscated  ;D but I had to pay a hefty amount of customs duty  :'( :'(

54" span, approx. 1.5 Kg flying weight. Plan to put a 35 ASP on it. Will decide whether to use a 35 or 25 when the build nears completion

Originally designed for Electric Power, so I'll be modifying it slightly for Glow

Terrific build, Sanjay !
Really envy your talent.
I, however, did the fuselage cladding after all all the innards (servos, pushrods, batteries, tank, etc) have been fixed. makes my work a bit simpler....

sanjayrai55

The photos don't show it maybe, but all servos, pushrods, tank, and even engine fitment are done  ;D

Yes, it is clear from this photo.
Just looks almost ready to take to the air.... :salute:

Didn't like the balsa used for the elevator. Very heavy, possibly Paulonia wood

Made some lightening holes

The main LG is 4 mm spring steel wire. This fits into wooden blocks which in turn are attached to the wing. The wood being not hard enough, the LG would in time have worked loose. So I drilled through a 4 mm blind nut, and used it
