Aeroworks extra 260 100cc

Hi all, Thought I would post here on the rebuild and re-maiden of my AW 35% extra. I picked this plane up very cheap because it had been crashed by previous owner due to a dead stick. Landing gear was ripped out along with some of the supporting structure. The firewall was also damaged and had to be replaced. Managed to repair it and had four great flights last weekend. My first 100cc plane and I love it!  Some pics of "before" and "after"

2 2300 mah A123 Batts

Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, NY. The RC field is in one small corner of what used to be New York cities original airport in the 1930s (in the golden age of civilian aviation) before JFK airport etc. and then used during WWII as a Naval air training base (lots of naval planes  etc. were stationed here) It is an amazing place with  lot of history, and a small air museum in a hangar on one side. We are very lucky to be able to fly in such a unique place.  A little bit more about the field:
