when my beloved sonic went down at IIT kanpur in JAN.... thought of getting it back to life with another similar one using salvages parts from the oldie.... this reloaded version is gonna have full aerobatic profile, retractable landing gear, flat dihedral... etc etc.... watch out this space...!

very nice!!!!wanna see once the covering is out!!!
there had been development but no camera for clicks.... finally did get it today..so posting the final pics... still the LETTERING to be done...
Good job... Nice scheme... Are those retractable landing gear? Btw you can have alot fun if you increase the rudder n elevator surface.. Good build..
thanks...! they are not retracts, retracts plan was cancelled...!
yep agree to that... kinda need a bit warm-up.. before some serious planes come in...need to fly a bit faster and smoother
hence u can see.... a smaller wing, sharp LE... short rudder, powered up engine with new piston cylinder and bearings.....
anyways thats quite much it...!
Cool... sharp looking plane there..
wheel track, visvesh is more, she is already quite 'Vishram' you need to 'Savdhaan' her a bit, else, slight hard touch down and prop will touch the ground for sure
got new look :)
gusty sir. roger that..!
some more to the trim added....
That's a beautiful model.
:goodjob:
Nice build Vish! Did you salvaged parts from Sonic ? Or is it kit cut/bought from someone ? It looks like the famous Tiger/Calmato design.
Why is there a rectangle in the Ribs, just behind the central Spars/Webbing ? Lightening holes should not have sharp corners like square/rectangle/Triangle. The corners should be rounded/smoothened. Sharp corners may lead to cracks under stress.
Beautiful build! The nose art reminds me of a P40 Warhawk.
@ujjwaana : i did not get what u are talking about, the square thing behind the spar... could u please highlight...! yes the tail, elevator, alirons, fin and rudder were salvaged from the sonic... the design was copied and enlarged.. turned out the same as the SHARK pradeep (PVA models) sells.....
@VC sir... P40 was the inspiration for this nose art.. it was even on my previous model..!
done with the maiden today.... quite gusty winds and also very strong... the plane was being thrown
could not get the perfect characteristics of the plane due to winds... but what ever i got ... it was totally worth it...
had 2 flights... one was a dead stick (glided back pretty well....)... second was awesome..
could not get the vid... probably get it on wednesday or sunday...
Good job.. Coming to warangal??
thinking of...!! if all works out well then surely will....!!

Hey Vishvesh
Where do you guys fly in Belgaum ?
I have good memories of the place when I was studying at the Medical College.
At the time I used to fly at the Sambra Airport or at the Golf Course.
I used to fly a Curare 40 and a Dirty Birdy then.
Mr Bilawar from the NCC Airwing was the only flyer around then.
hello sir....
we have our own ground in belgaum. and a group of 8 people who fly except for the one mentioned.... there were 4 fliers when u were here, may be u were kept away from them. (heard a lot of stories about your flying eager to meet u.)
Mr Abhay saraff is one of the seniors here.... into aeromodelling for around 45yrs now.. was in mumbai for some time. may have heard about him...!!
the GOLF course is closed and so is the airport. (atleast for us)
have got very nice reviews about the curare.... will be starting a build... may be tomorrow i will start a build-log on the same.....
