Haven't built an IC Engined profile model in a long time. Skybees were about 50 years ago ;)
I found this on Outer Zone, and decided to try to adapt it in Corro

Amazing Sir. What will be right first step towards IC Engine models?
Thanks Shirsa. I guess the logical first step is to get an engine and it's associated paraphernalia and get familiar with it. Then select a model suited to it
Thanks Sir. Which engine do you think best for beginners?
Nothing really like a beginner in this. See what's available, and in your budget. Also, it would depend on the kind of field you have
In Glow OS are the most popular, in Gasoline DLE
The "40 size" Glow engine probably has the widest range of available models/ model plans
Ok Sir. Thank you for your advise.
@sanjayrai55,
Lovely as usual, sir!
Read the magazine article. Should be an excellent flyer.
Will the sharp leading edge make a difference?
Regards
Thanks Iyer sir
All my corro models do have a sharp LE. They seem to fly OK.
Sirji,
If you can create a round LE with coro, after bending the wings. Take a sheet of coro having flutes spanwise. keep 3" top & bottom.
Use this sheet to wrap around the LE, you will get a round LE.
I have tried this technique on my big models. Works good

pic attached for ref, you need to zoom to see it.

There are many ways, and I have successfully tried some. Suffice to say I did not find it essential to performance

Wow this is beautiful. Fantastic build Sanjayji!!!!!
Waiting to see the maiden!
Thanks ;D
Successful maiden today
The engine was new, so ran in ~ 2 tanks, and flew at a richer setting
Will have to put more sponge foam between tank and fuselage, there is excessive foaming in the fuel

Really smooth.
No adverse effect of sharp LE at all!

Never had a problem with the sharp LEs ever! At least 30-40 models done
