Hello Arun -

Saw your PM... all the best for the maiden.  Here are some of the points that I learnt about flying such planes, by playing test pilot to others' stuff (and crashing some of them!).

1.  Choose a day with some wind.  Landing these would be much easier if you have some wind.

2.  Use low throws to start with (via DR/Expo) initially.  Higher throws shall be put on stand by via TX switches.

3.  Do fly around one or two mistakes high initially, just to see how the plane behaves.  Do not slow down too much, especially while making turns.  Do not bank too much for turns either, make wider turns until you can understand the flight characteristics of the particular model.

4.  The landing gears of these models are easily damaged if you do not get the landing just about right.  Try couple of approaches and aborts, and try to figure out a decent approach speed earlier itself (flying high).  Try the first landing while you still have plenty of fuel, it is quite common to experience multiple aborted landings with such models before you can put them down gently/safely.

Hope to see your maiden video here soon ! :)
