Would you, please, explain what does "bashing" refer to?

Yep, interesting use of the word "bash", which usually referes to somewhat abusive use of something... or using something beyond its normal operating parameters/ranges.

hi,

In detail, meaning of kit bashing .

Kitbashing or model bashing is a practice whereby a new scale model is created by taking pieces out of commercial kits. These pieces may be added to a custom project or to another kit. For professional modelmakers, kitbashing is popular to create concept models for detailing movie special effects. Commercial model kits are a ready source of "detailing", providing any amounts of identical, mass-produced components that can be used to add fine detail to an existing model. Professionals often kitbash to build prototype parts which are then recreated with lightweight materials.

hi,

above kit was finally completed and maidened today morning. we were just waiting for the monsoon to end and winds to settle and today was the day.

this was a scratch built project by my friend Col.H.K.Sil he is a very avid aeromodeller and likes to build models. the model pics will clearly explain that he takes pride in his construction.

i congratulate him on his completion and his effort has really paid of very well. the model although turned out heavy at 6.5kgs flew very scale like and has really impressed us more than expected.

this model has lot of things added like airbrakes, flaps, lights etc.

we have named it Kubet. ( this was done behind the famous Sig Kadet )

chek the pics
