thanks divya!!!!
lot of people at bhondsi have bought good stuff from allan but i missed the opportunity.
i have been to kalsi's place some time back and bought a edge 540 but with red color scheme......planing to put DLE 20 on it. ;D
by the way i have been shifted to noida plant by my company so hope to catch u guys soon at your field.
cheers
The red and white scheme edge is also superb, you will love the glide characteristic, here is a pic of the same at the Noida Field ...... eagerly waiting to see you at the noida field, I am not in Noida this weekend but am always just a phone call away... cheers....
yes this is the one i have.
if you are not there this week end then i will come next sunday.
looking forward to meet you guys.
cheers
Good one ranjaram, seeing after a long sabbatical, last heard was I think in feb. I have a DLE 26cc edge 540, edge does good flying, +1 on the glide part, if you turn hard , especially to the left at low speeds, she might drop wing. Cater to that, guys have put winglets to prevent this.
For the interest of all and those who have less or no understanding of winglets, here is a great article on the same.

Not to be a spoilsport but to the original poster - that is not an edge 540! Its not even close! The edge has a straight leading edge and a completely different fuse and canopy profile. It looks more like a GP 'u-can-do - 3d' or something in between. take a look at any pic of the real plane or any of the giant scale models available. For instance:

The King is always right !!!

thnks for the info
{:)} flatspin_king good observation. :hatsoff:
just calling a spade a spade ;) Good luck with you model - it should be a good aerobatic performer.
hey thnks for the info guys this is u can do 3d
GUYS . Its a seagull Bling 3d.
Kalsi had got one of these and i saw it personally. Its designed for a 50cc and has a wingspan of 80" plus.
Putting a 26cc will be too underpowered and neither will it was to balance the plane on its recommended C.G.
Have a look at RCU and do some further research.

The "Epilogue" at the end of that page is really nice !
We still have not reached the state of the art with our primitive efforts...

[so very true]
Yup it looks like U Can Do 3D. Wen i saw the pics i felt it was exactly like the UCD. Even i have been building a GP UCD. Posting its pics. Still some work left in it. It s a 46 size. But pretty huge for a 46 size. But very light though.
Hi Sravan,
I have a UCD .46 too and have put an OS75 AX with a 14x4 prop, you will simply love it, just remember not to fly straight on full throttle, if you ever want to give full throttle ensure that you have a 10% climb atleast.
I am also currently building a UCD 90 size on which I am putting a DLE 20 lets see how things go .. have had to do quite a few mods to strengthen the plane
Best of luck with your build
