I want to build a classic ugly stick of 20 size for intermediate level (maneuverable model). I m planning to over power the model to 28-30 size asp engine and keep minimum dihedral possible in the wing. This will be my first balsa model.
I cant find any plan below .46 size in balsa and i don't want to proceed with .46 size model because of transportation issues.
If anyone has got the plan please pass it on. And please don't hesitate to give suggestion .They are all welcome :) (dont want to make mistakes this time).

There are plans for what you are looking for, but they seem to be paid ones.

You can also consider a 3D profile, which if you put on half throws with some expo will work as a good intermediate plane.

thanks anwar ...i had seen this model with Chan in iit kharagpur's competitions .. but his was electric and with absolutely incredible capabilities...  no wonder he won the competition... i hope i m ready for such kind of aerobatic plane .. :o (i have flying twitchy high winger for a month)... since this plane is just of 33 inch wingspan will it be stable in mild windy conditions??  (i was expecting 40inch) :headscratch:

1.  Time one a simulator...  it is the next best thing after sliced bread... for building confidence !

2.  Have some one experienced trim and test the plane for the first flight. Make sure reduced rates and expo are implemented, and have the other person test it. Also, if possible, make the first couple of flights are on a trainer cable setup with the experienced folks.

Wind will impact any plane, and you have to make a judgement call on when it is too windy.  But these planes should handle moderate winds, from what I have seen (not experienced though).

And if I am right, there was a horrible tragedy with it somewhere in Kerala !

I got a chance to fly this plane when Chan came here to participate in the "Aviator"  at IIT Powai Mumbai  I was a Judge at this event, he placed 2nd very nicely built airplane with a powerful motor
