This is the second Piper J3 (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__12971__J3_Cub_EP_Old_Timer_ARF_.html) i own. Converted this one to house AP 0.09 engine.
here are some pics, video to follow, ran for almost 20 min on such a tiny tank and enough thrust. maiden tommorrow. what say sandy ?
side or inverted mounting the engine would have looked a much neat and clean....
it is looking like the engine was forced on it....
but an excellent mod.... i always wanted put an engine on a foamy... :salute: :salute:
Cut cowling is going to come up from the bottom of the mount, this engine, with the head sticking out and false four cylinder on the side is going to look awesome ( I guess)
Fab! How's it go?
Your rattan recliner- with a few modifications you can convert the curved backrest into a nice wing'n'fuse rack for smaller models ;D ;D

What to do Gusty, that's the first thing that came to mind. I have become abnormal - I go to a supermarket, see a small bucket, and think whether I can use the handle as a main landing gear for a Spad! :D
Here is the Ground Run Video, See the RPM, Initial is rich, once leaned (End of the video) she goes like the wing tip of a humming bird. Awesome (in HD esp)to say the least :hatsoff:
