was just sitting around the house jobless ( as its vacation time...) and no thoughts of flying as its raining...
had a thought of building some thing....
had some coro lying around and some foam.... even a .25 engine....
and this thing ended up.... around 3 hrs later...
Just want some help in calculating the CG for the delta :help: :help:
specs:
total span: 100cm
root cord: 54 cm
tip cord: 15cm
material: coro(for bottom), foam, ply piece(for LG reinforcement), wooden engine bearers, ply doublers.
optional : landing gear, alu C spar, paint
engine: OS .25 FP
servos, Fut s3001, TYG 9gm for throttle
tank: 100cc tank
There s a software flying wing CG calculator. Use that. It can be used for delta's or flying wing. Google it you will know.
superb
how you painting your model?
painting is done by regular enamel paints... pick it up at local hardware store...
No vertical tail/ twin tails? ???
first one to notice it....! thats yet to come in...! will post the final pics tomo...!
i thought it can fly without it, like most of planes..
Vertical fin is an absolute necessity. Unless you are prepared for a crash or you are super-confident of your skills, it would be fun to see it fly without it. Try it in a simulator you will know what its like.

the FIN is in... and the final pics...!
still the throttle servo to be added...!
