hi,

A friend of mine Col.H.K.Sil. built a coro wot and modified it for a 9cc NGH petrol engine. The model is built entirely from coro and 3mm ply for formers. have attached pics of the build.

if i have got it right, for the same cutting i use a FRET saw is used to ... a long u shaped saw...

u may have seen it with people who cut the wooden switch board (that is electric) i use a manual....

a finer blade will give u a smoother cut..... also u can adjust the tension in the blade for different cuts...

please share details of AUW and CG. Visually it appears to be nose heavy I may be wrong though.

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

 :salute: hard to believe that its a scratch built SPAD!!! Amazing craftsmanship  :hatsoff:

sbajare

hi,

Maiden flight today after all the waiting. The flight was right off the drawing board. no trims required and the CG was perfect.

wingspan - 67" tip to tip
All up wt - 3100gms
Engine - NGH 9cc petrol
propeller - 12x6

Initially the engine was erratic and not runnning well as the pump was too far after relocation, bringing it closer to the carb made quite a difference and the engine was running well and seemed to idle well with a 12x6.

congrats on maiden, this engine sniffs fuel, with a 220 cc tank it gave 45 min of Flg time

Great Build there. An Absolute beauty.  {:)} {:)} {:)}

The pump with fuel line not located less than 85mm from the Carb is proving to be an tuning nightmare for most of us and which we realize late.  ;) Here in Shillong cumulative with high altitude and low ambient temperature tuning temperament is multiplied many folds due to this.
