Hi everyone,
Some 25 years ago my friend had built this Solo Star that I bought from him 15 years ago.
After a few years of flying, the stab got damaged by hitting a clump during landing.
I'd repaired the fuselage and tail and covered them with (thickish) doculam.
A few years later, the motor failed to rev up on a go around and the wing hit a tree branch.
Fell to the ground tail first.
A few more years passed.
I thought the fuselage was too tired to be repaired again, so looked for an alternative.
Was pleasantly surprised to find that Sig Kadet had almost identical dimentions, and was prettier too!
So off to the printshop to get a full size print of plan #oz2950 from Outerzone.
More once I start the build...
