Hi, i have got this 450 fbl head from rcbazaar,
i removed everything and when i put everything together,
when i tighten the screws the grips are not moving its so tight.

i need to loosen the screws to make the blade grip move freely, what should i do here?
how to fix this issue?

thanks

remove the washer that goes with the bolt onto the feathering shaft..

lol avesh wat are u telling him remove washers  :o :o :o .dineash u dont have to make the screws so tight wat u do is remove both screws apply thread lock to only 2 to 3 threads from bottom all around and dab the excess with fingers or tissue then tighten both together when u feel resistance when u tighten just give a slight turn to make it tight and let the thread lock cure move the grips to check if they move freely if thy have slight resistance its ok it will free up after first spool up with blades dont remove any washers or anything  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

shannon i have issue with my thrust bearings. when i use washer with the bolt on the feathring shaft, the bold squeeze the hell out the bearing and make its static. Removing the washer makes the thrust bearing move freely. practicing this on my 450 pro for around 2 months with throttle curve 0-80-80-80-80, never experinced any issue. I think its the manufacturing defact on my hiller.pro.  And yes the stock provided orings were useless. TOo much ply on the blade grips. Sorry i dont own a fbl head and thats getting me wrong..

Avesh tht means ur over tighning ur bolts thts the reason the bearings are getting jammed... The golden rule is don't over tighten and say these words "in thread lock I trust"   :giggle: :giggle:.. I know there is fear of blades flying out but if u apply proper thread lock tighten to right proportion and let the lock tight cure properly u wwon't have any problems

Thanks shannon, but i did sacrificed my blades for the same reason, completely trusted the threadlocker, bolts tighten moderately and then boom. Stunt mode 0 -> Stunt mode 1 = boouumm. lol could not find the Orings and one set of thrust bearings. Any ways now i fly really well(sports). Would soon be switching to alzrc devil 480 . :) .  dineashkumar make sure you tight your 450 bolts as instructed by shannon or replace your spindle shaft.

thanks avesh, shannon
i was doing the same what shannon said but when i opened everything and saw i couldnt find the washer that goes before the thrust bearing set goes,

it was not there in the head.
but when i see the manual, it shows washer.

i will try to add washer if not i will do what sahnnon said.

thanks everyone :) {:)}

dinesh i was talking about the washers that goes with the screw that mount your spindle head to shaft. Its goes after the thrust bearings. :)

those washers are not there on the hiller ...they are not there even in the alzrc heads only hk and align have them installed ....@avesh did u de grease the bolts both the bolts put them in alcohol or acetone submerge them then take a tissue and wipe the threads and bolts the reason thrad lock did not work was cause there must be oil on the bolts from manufacture or u dint allow the thread lock to cure properly or dint apply properly...am just saying check for all of this

thanks shannon, Sorry i did not but i could guess the cause for that massacre. The thrust bearings were tight, inturn it unlocked the screw and inturn set loose my 700inr. It literally sounded like a blast @ my backyard. Past since i removed the washers no such horrendous occurrences.  i was a bonehead at that time.
