I am unable to decide between a Raptor 50 and a TZ50V2 Frenzy, need some Expert advice from Nitro Flyers

Some Facts:
I am tight on budget
it's going to be my first Nitro Heli and the only Nitro Heli (I guess)

Thanks

I have seen very very aggressive flying with the TZ50V2, and it was handling the aggression very very well.

But parts availability is a key item when it comes to heli ownership, so Raptor would seem to make more sense in the Indian context

Hi All,

Thank you for helping me decide on the Kit, :salute:

Now the only other major confusion that I have is on the engine as I am confused between OS 50H (Hyper) or Red Line RL53H or RL56H. I have gone through the reviews on runryder and helifreak but I am getting mixed responses as it starts out well for RL53H over OS 50 but the Carb Issue for this Engine has really taken a bad hit.

Anyone here experienced this sticky Carb issue with the RL53H or RL56H engine?

Thanks

RotorZone

I have used it with a single link set up and never experienced a lock up. It is the newer carb that is supposed to fix the problem, but people have reported issues with newer carb as well. Be very careful tightening the carb bolts to the crank case. Tighten them just enough to make an air tight seal and tighten the two bolts evenly. In the first few flights check that it is still moving freely when engine is hot.

i second Rotorzone on that. that was an issue of the past.

have 2 sets of rl 53 and 2 matching pipes for them. powerful and smooth. will go in for another redline given the option.
