The kit is by Fusuno Guys . I Received it a month back . Used the orignal packing to ship other Fuse .
It comes with the retracts supplies and need to be assembled .
I got a Turnigy Lightening system for more scale look along with the scale blades which i might order on later stage.
The light system come with pretty decent price tag of 10 USD almost.
I'll be using the 450 Pro TT Flybarless Kit For this project By ALZRC.
Which will be running on
-ALZRC FBL kit
-SK3 6S 1700Kv Motor
-YEP 60 Amp - Best ESC if you want Low RPM and In Budget .
-Micro BeastX FBL Gyro
-TGY 306 X3 Cyclics Servo
-Savox On the Tail
Planning to run 2800-3000 RPM With 11 or 12T slant Pinion
Packing was great and the parcel came in 4 days via DHL.
Kit requires a 9G Servo for the Retracts which control all three wheels Via control Rods . I'll be using the Tower Pro 9MG
Need to assemble many other external parts using 5 mins Epoxy
Best Detailing done on the body
Paint Job is first class as i expected from Fusuno.
The Quality is 100% better then the Hobbyking Cheap Fuselages . You can judge it by the quality of Tail section . The Boom is very strong . They used plenty of material for strength
Got my last Board paper tomorrow , after that i'll be continuing .

sweeeet!!
Yep The Best Fuselage I have Ever seen . No Grey , All black ! :D
Awesome dude , good job on the details and photo clarity in your build logs.....good luck
Thanks FlyJo ! I never thought I'll be enjoying so much clicking and sharing .
Will definitely share more in Heli section from Now Onward . ;D
Here's some snaps in comparison with a MD500 Fuse which is also a 450 Fuse .
MD500 is from the HK Guys . And the quality sucks when compares :banghead:
But still 50$ vs 200$ is pretty okay .
I'll Do another thread for the MD500 Repainting and Build log later after these major Ones.

And the 450 which I'll be using is not a brand new kit . But yeah its kinda new only
I gave the specification in above post
I mounted on the side of the frame for easy access after installation in the fuse .
Also I prefer beastX more then VBar as i feel Vbar is bit twitchy and isn't made for scale flying , But Best for Smacking hahaha.
On the other hand BeastX is very smooth for scale flying . It's good for smooth 3D too but just personal preference .

Have to make sure no binding while placing the servo
3 heli builds at the same time not many can do that. This is real talent
Awesome bro {:)} {:)} :salute:
Thanks Neil :D
For Installing the Lighting system , Need to make clean holes for the LED's .
I'll use a Reamer (https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7689__Knife_Edge_Reamer_3_14mm_Holesize_.html (https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7689__Knife_Edge_Reamer_3_14mm_Holesize_.html))

wooah! nice :D when is the maiden?? :D
Great .... Hats off
oye dhruv, want help? i can wire up a custom lighting system if you want... ;)
Thanks Aniket and Docnayeem :hatsoff:
Aniket we discuss that in the evening ;)
I want 1 extra LED to function only when I put the wheels down ..
Awesome :hatsoff:
Thank you Sir :hatsoff:
As there will be increase in weight and i'll keep rpm low a bit , I changed the Tail servo to TGY 306Hv for better tail holding performance .
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09549_zps49e4acc8.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09549_zps49e4acc8.jpg.html)
Took the Landing Skids Out
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09550_zps8f147d04.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09550_zps8f147d04.jpg.html)
The tail case Assembly
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09551_zps63f10cba.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09551_zps63f10cba.jpg.html)
And the Support Rods
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09552_zpsf3357b57.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09552_zpsf3357b57.jpg.html)
I needed to bring the tail servo as close to the boom for smooth movement of the Tail servo Linkage
Now I found that i'll need to remove
-Main Gear
-Elevator servo
to make the frame slide inside. :banghead: :banghead:
You can see as the fuse is made for the V2 Design
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09553_zpsd8572f7f.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09553_zpsd8572f7f.jpg.html)
After removing I slided the frame inside and took the landing skid's hole marking
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09559_zps88f06aa5.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09559_zps88f06aa5.jpg.html)
I got no binding at the aileron servos
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09560_zps70d1f9d7.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09560_zps70d1f9d7.jpg.html)
And finally it will look something like
(http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y438/dhruvafreak/DSC09557_zpse2dc3905.jpg) (http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/dhruvafreak/media/DSC09557_zpse2dc3905.jpg.html)
Note : I'll have to install elevator and main gear later after installing the 450 in the fuse :banghead: :banghead:
So after marking holes for the frame , i installed the retract servo finally and trimmed it .
The wheels assembly is kinda loose from inside so i'll put some gorilla glue later .
Assembly requires lot of patience .
Always while marking holes first try installing the tail assembly , which will give you rough idea about the modding required . Have to make sure - No Binding
I used washers to lift the tail servo and bring the push rod closer to the boom . It's all hit and try method .
Then marking the holes is a pain :banghead:
I assembled the tail unit first then did the marking for exact location .
I made a hole near the tail servo so that it doesn't crack the fuse .
Here's few pics and video

Absolutely blown away. Dhruva, won't you be scared to fly this beauty?

And here's Maiden video .
Sorry for the quality , I forgot my cam
I was scared as hell but Best feel i ever had
www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeW6ancp1Vc&feature=youtu.be (//http://) (//http://)
A Kid got hit today by a stone (Kankad) been hit by tail rotor blades from at least 10-15m away While landing .
There's no clearance between tail blades and ground . I definitely need a heli pad and crew.
Other then that the chopper flies great . It's heavy and flies fast . Don't need high collective .
I have set it to -2 to +8.5 degrees. and low rpm
Time to install the LED's
Dhruva, please send me a new keyboard. Just destroyed mine by drooling all over it. Fabulous!
Hahaha Definitely Sir :giggle:
Thank You :hatsoff:
I feel that you too love scale choppers a lot
I love anything scale.
@dhruvafreak
Am not into helis,
But those 6 pics in reply 32,
Blew me away
:hatsoff:
Thanks a lot Sir .
I'll take few more clicks outside in real world :hatsoff:
Currently working on the LED's
Welcome to the world of "scale" my friend!
the first thing any scaler sees on his maiden is the stability, you just pulled that off beautifully.
Any stabilizers inside? any thoughts about going scale on the blades?
CF
Thanks Controlflyer :hatsoff:
I'm Running MicroBeastX FBL controller only . I'll Tune it more for scale flying after few more flights.
For the blades - No clue .... Maybe I'll get ASYMMETRICAL Spin Blades (Matt Black) for scale flying .
One of my friend use to fly scale without any FBL System but i don't have the guts to pull that out .
What blades you prefer?
A question for All members - Should I paint the Windshield Black ?????
LED's Installed
Did a night flying but the video quality sucks . Will make another later .

at-last.... c is in the air
amazing build man.... :hatsoff:
So this project, from a sweepstakes perspective, is adding the scale fuselage to an already built heli ? I see no build steps for the heli frame itself, nor timestamp reference pictures.
It will still be considered for the sweepstakes, but the effort level will be considered less as most of the work is in building the heli itself.
It looks great
Thanks Alex :D .
It feels amazing . I did a flight video too.
Coming soon.
Anwar Sir - Totally agreed with you Sir . Not a Problem
I did the heli in December , before you announced sweepstakes :)
At least new Thread in Heli Section ;D
Again sorry for the Cracks

Painted the windows to black using Acrylic color .
For the side windows ,I bought a thick transparent sheet from stationary and painted it it . The windows are just hanging in there with the help of 3M TAPE.

YO bro , best on the forum
Hi
What a great model. Congratulations :hatsoff:.
I also have a airwolf 450 that I'm putting together. But the tail gives me problems.
There are two screws on the tail that I can not reach when it is in the fuselage. See picture.
Are they necessary or can I avoid them? How did you fix it?
It is a Trex 450 plus.
Torben
@dhruvafreak
whats the max range you can operate this heli
Thanks Torben !
First of all its good that you are using the Belt cause There's hardly any tail clearance with the fuselage installed .
Okay now , for your problem - Have you already mounted the frame and tighten up the boom ? I think you just try to push the frame back as much as you can before installing the frame and then PUT those 2 Screws on the tail case . That should work probably .
Lemme know if that works out .
WingMan , Max range according to my radio XG11 I can get 900-1000m in open ground.
Thanks for your reply :)
I managed to get it on . It just had to be pushed back far enough .
A window and a couple of guns is what I need to install.
And then it's off to fly ... :)
Awesome ! Let us know here , how your maiden flight goes . Would love to see
Hi again
It did not go so well. Everything looks good and responsive, but the helicopter rotates. What's wrong with the tail? ???

The helicopter flew very stable before.
Torben
@dhruvafreak
@torben
Are both your Airwolves the same size?
From the pics my impression was that Dhruva's was much larger.
Of course as an airplane/sailplane guy I don't know anything about choppers...
Hey Torben , looks like the tail servo is binding . Just check if the tail slider is free and there's no binding !
And I would suggest making your throttle curve flat and Super soft start on the ESC . That will takeoff the torque reaction and avoid Unwanted rotation. Lemme know
@K K Iyer Sir , They both are same size . (:
Just the background make it look small.
Thanks for your reply :)
It was the belt that was twisted. So I give it another try tomorrow. Wish me luck ;D
@dhruvafreak.Airwolf is {:)} {:)}
Great ! You found the problem . How the test flight went ? @Torben
Thank You :D @Kiran
It went great.
It flies even better now. It has also been improved to handle more wind because it 's heavier. Unfortunately I do not have a video, since I could not persuade my daughter to film. She thinks that rc helicopter is a bit boring ;D
Hahaha ! I know .....
It will be pretty fast too . I remember i decreased the +pitch to 10 degrees and -pitch to -4 degrees for more scale flying with some 20-25% expo on the cyclics for smooth transitions ;D :hatsoff:
