hi mate.
wood is far better quality then f/glass....it can hold hidden faults. cheap manufacture, and has cheap lolly sticks as a former!! etc....
.quality wood is far more reliable any time, and does less damage to your model.

It seems you are progressing at a good rate, all points have been mentioned earlier on this topic so no point repeating it, it's all about sim and stick time
