Hi Docsree, you may want to check this thread here:

Heliflyer is a reputed person on this forum.

Hey guys, the heli i purchased from ebay is not working properly!! Even with full throttle it fails to take off. Any technical advise? I'm planning to return it and buy a new one. Sad experience for a beginner!

The first thing to check would be if the battery is fully charged ... that was the case when i faced similar issue.

Yes i charged it completely. The light indicator on transmitter _charger tells its completely charged. .

Hi,

Battery is the main culprit in something like this, so i would like to get that ticked off from the possibilites first?

Do you have a spare battery (i guess not) or a wall charger to ensure that there is proper charge in the battery?

I was in a very similar situation once (one of the threads that anwar suggested was started by me), i bought a cheap cell checker, which i would highly recommend you to buy as well, to ensure that battery voltage is fine.

If yes, then check if the blades are throwing air towards the floor, you can check this by firmly holding the heli in your hand and spooling it up and feel the air flow should be quite a bit.

Let us know.

Battery was charged using wall charger only and yes the main rotors r pushing the air down.

I have a similar problem with a ModelArt Phoenix heli I am trying to repair. The heli spools up but does not lift off even at full throttle. I have tried it with a fully charged battery. The battery voltage seems fine. The heli weight is normal too. Blades are in good shape and no weird noises to report.
Any suggestions?

If the blades are rotating at full throttle with no lift, things that could be wrong are:
1. The speed is not upto the mark
2. Check that there is no wobble near the head
3. Check blade tracking
4. Check that blades have necessary pitch when they are rotating at more than 50% throttle

Let us know if this helps...

Hi rajath, i sent that heli back and got refund !! I (neither did the seller !) could not figure out why it never worked. I dont know if ur heli is a simple coaxial, 4 ch heli in which case, i dont think we could check the pitch or do blade tracking. but one thing i realized retrospectively (after i got a new heli from heliflyer) was that the speed of the rotors was probably not sufficient. Initially i thought the rotors were spinning enough but after comparing it with this heli (GT8008) i think the problem was not enough power. might have been due to defective battery, motor, gear assembly or the main ESC board. let us know the progress.
