Hello friends,
This is my first rc heli. Its a Genuine product from SYMA TOYS INDUSTIAL CO.,LTD, Shantou City Guangdong, China.
Its extremely stable, Gyro system on it is very impressive. I am posting some of the pics of a Genuine Syma s107g here, so that u guys can differentiate between a fake and a Genuine one.
some more pics of Genuine Syma s107g ......
Now some pics of Genuine charger......
Mym..its a cute and stunning machine..
Yes indeed, its the best and most renowned name in micro helis especially this model from Syma,
Thanks for the comment, Roopeshkrishna :)
Hi How much you have spended on this Micro Heli ?
As per remote pic, its seems 3Ch Heli, If I am not wrong this is Micro Heli, right ???
In Delhi and other chines market there is a Brand called SWIFT, which is comming in two price
1. 550Rs - Without Gyro (But box says it have Gyro)
2. 1000Rs - With Gyro
In 1000Rs you will get very stable heli which will go in all 3 Direction, and its Gyro really work on it.
hi gbisht,
As per ur assumption u r absolutely right, this is indeed a 3-channel micro heli and the performance is just unbeatable with regards to other micro heli's and that too in just Rs 1650? This heli Rocks...
I also tried the cheaper options like swift which one of my frnd bought for Rs 990, also studied other micro helis and believe me u cant compare them with a Genuine Syma s107g. It can hover at once place like a real heli & u can move it forwards/reverse, left/right, up/down. Its amazingly stable & I already completed 44 flights with it without any problem
Continuous Flight time on a single charge is 7.30 minutes (recorded with a timer)
Here's the official website, http://www.symatoys.com/
and if u want 2 know the difference between a clone and a Genuine one let me know,
for higher resolution pics u can view them at flickr.com, I have uploaded 14 pics, just click the link http://www.flickr.com/photos/75941605@N04/6966900641/in/photostream/
and view them all.... :)
anything else I can do for u?
Btw looking forward 2 post a video on youtube very soon.....
Hi
No Offence, but I am posting this post because in initial days I have spended Rupees on cheap helis, who claim that they have Gyro but actuall they dont.
But after long search, our local toystore person said in market he have same brand SWIFT heli but this heli is costly because its distributer saying it have Gyro. so I bought it and that was my first Gyro Heli at that time.
Posting its video, check how its gyro is working and I am turning it, tail/heli is very stable and I forget I got it in 900 Rs only......
It was old video, and that time I was not unable to fly heli perfectly.....

Friends, it is very easy to detect a Gyro, in a Heli, by holding it at palm, with fingers, while the heli runs in light speed..and just shake, the tail once, and you will see and feel an instant speed variation of main and tail rotors, to balance it ..when shaked violently, the main and tail rotors will runs erratically..this more visible in Co axial helis..and nowadays many companies are pumping out their's product in market..but a machine from like Syma will works nicely..
Hi Gbisht,
Thanks for the link, Ur heli's performance is very good no doubt, actually beyond my expectations to b very honest :)
Thanks for the comment Roopeshkrishna

Thanks for your post, I just wanted to aware new bies that SWIFT also comes in Gyro, but in India local toyshop keepers dont buy it because difference is huge for them (350-400)
so they buy cheaper one, and generally children buy those heli and parents always see price rather then functionality, but when children become like us they spend hell lot of money for gud Gyro and functions......lol
If any one interested in this SWIFT heli with Gyro I can provide it Cost will be 900 + shipping (Actually Want to help my local Toy shopkeeper, because he help me a lot to giving his toys scrap)
Thanks gbisht,
Your intention is of helping the toy shopkeeper, thts nice..
why dont u start a new post under the heading something like "brand new swift heli with gyro for sale"
or something else. This will also attract more people + those people who r already searching about Swift's performance will be able to know more about it at one place under proper heading.
Hope u like my idea :)
Hello mym,
i have an exact copy of this heli from volitation (volitation h107g)...it is exactly same in looks and features (its a 3 ch one too WITH gyro), only its tail motor holder has a blue coloured LED and cost me Rs 1600.
but now after 15-20 flights am experiencing a problem...
The heli is quit stable at about half throttle, but as i increase throttle any further, it starts rotating anticlockwise and finally looses altitude.
I have checked(by the method suggested by Roopesh Sir) and the gyros are working fine, even the flybar or the main shafts are not bent, but still the problem persists.... Can you suggest something?
-regards
Bilal
Hi Bilal,
This problem seems that on high rate RPM you tail motor is not supporting, check you tail mortor teeth, I think Volitation is little big heli no exactly Micro Heli, and have tail motor with a Gear,
So check your tail motor teeth and Gear Teeth, hold tight it on Hand and give full throttle and check how tail is reacting ...
No sir, tail rotor is direct drive with a 1'' dia prop....and sir, as far as i know, tail rotor on coaxials has nothing to do with yaw, they are their for pitch/elevator controll...
And if you talk about size, then mine has ~10'' dia main rotor
Sorry Bilal, I thought it is fix pitch single blade heli....
So if it is exactly same then its head blades should driven by 2 motors, are these motor teeth and their gear teeths are OK
it is because at high throttle one motor is spenning lower then other, and then you heli starting spinning.
small circut and diffecult to repair.....
are both blade set (all 4 blades are ok) ??
Bilal..make sure both main blades are rotating freely, especially, in high speeds, as blades lifted up with force, so, the base of the driven gear can jam somewhere in the gear box.. make sure a free rotation of blades, while pulling it lightly, towards up..
secondly, you must have a potentiometer on TX, to adjust the torque rotation of your heli..and in some also can adjust the torque rotation from inside..make sure all gears are good with teeth..
Hello Bilal,
Did u use any lubrication?? like oil or something....
I think when u accelerate the throttle above 50% then one of the motor or rotor blade fails to match the speed of the other, this is the reason why ur heli seem to have the problem.
If u have lubricated ur heli at pivots then may b the upper blade assembly is slipping. One my friend also encountered similar problem so what I did was.. loosened the screws A & B and wiped off the oil and then mounted it again. Pls refer the Pic for screws A & B
In case u havent lubricated do the same procedure and tighten the screws (Dont forget to match the notch with screws)
Hope this will solve ur heli's problem as it did with my frnd's heli.
All the best
{:)}
Bang on sir, you got it right....i just checked it and one of the screws is missing :salute:
I am Glad......
U will find many screws on ur heli, just check the appropriate size and fix the problem. Btw on my frnd's heli I picked one out of the four screws which u can view them in pic. If they r of the same size and match perfectly, then its great...u can use them and it wont affect heli's functionality at all
Again....match the notch on shaft with screw before tightening, so that u may get 100% success, if u want further assistance on how 2 do that I can post the pics for u...just let me know
Ok few more pics for Syma Freaks...

s107g from back...
Sir from where you bought the syma s107g? Have you ordered it online? Did you face any problem regarding customs? What preventive steps you took for customs? Please help me, from where would I get this fantastic helicopter?
Thank You.
Regards.
I managed to buy a carton of these helis a few years ago. They were selling at a local toy shop for $69.99. I was selling them for $29.99 and couldn't keep the supply up. I wondered why they were so popular so kept one for myself. They are amazing little helis the gyro worked very well and in no time I was flying around my bedroom. My wife got alittle fed up when I kept hitting the curtains and she had to come in to retrieve it for me.
I had months of use before changing the battery and it's still running as good as new. The reason mine kept hitting the curtains was a very slight breeze which I couldn't feel was pushing the heli into the curtains. Shutting the door solved the problem.
They would be my all time favourite. I also have a couple of Nine Horses, a Volitation, which common problems consist of top blades hitting bottom blades, fixed with a small modification and if you tip the heli on it's side and don't kill the throttle the base of the motor will burn a circular copper track away. Easily fixed with a piece of wire soldered to each end. I also have a few various Chinooks and other large Syma Helis. Which were all returned under warranty but I repaired them all.
check this heli i yhink it is bets product from syma it is syma s33 2.4g

Thanks for the comment Propfella. U r right indeed, these little Helicopters r amazing...I am a big fan of Syma s107g.
I brought one for myself in the month of Feb. and its still flying smoothly :)
Hi.. This is nivas from chennai and i am a beginner.. I am going to have my first flight and i would like to have it with this cute little bird syma s107g...
The only place that i find this is http://www.tmart.com/Syma-S107G-3-Channel-Remote-Control-Helicopter-with-Gyroscope-Yellow_p135005.html . But many saying that the product is not genuine... ???
so could you please tell we where did you get this ??? where can i get it in chennai ????
Thanks and Regards,
Nivas
i remember i purchased 2ch syma from MOunt ABu, heli had enough power but no stability. after 10th flight the main gear washed out resulting a clone gear from teflon from latch machine. Later the model was disected , but yes the n20 tail motor was a hell good
Can anyone please update me where i can buy a genuine s107g here in India, of course through online shopping. I've already tried from several local shop but so far its all in vain. This will be my first RC heli and don't want to get disappointed by buying a cheap counterfeit heli.
Thanks
