Hey Guys,

I am a beginner for RC activities. I am looking for some good recommendation for a toy heli that I want to gift my 7 years old. The use will be more of indoor and less outdoors. Any recommendation will be good and I would like to prefer an store purchase and do not want an online purchase. I am based at Bangalore and had just visited to RCBazaar, they have too cool stuff, currently those are out of my budget of 2-2.5K.

Any recommendation will help to decide the model better. Thank you all in advance.

Zapper.

You can visit Model Art store in Bangalore. They have plenty of toy grade helicopters starting from Rs.1200/-

Hi Nithinraj,

Thanks for the directive. I visited the store yesterday, though they didnt have much of the options in low budget range I was able to find a good heli for 2750. It works well indoor havent tried it outdoors. Thanks again.

Yes, lets hope for that. I have passed my limit to get a commercial lic for helis 😜
BTW, they are made very fancy these days. Would love to have one with a camera.

co-axial helis are much more stable, find the one.
Planes are like feel-good buddy movies and helis are like horror films... you just have to like being scared!

Hi Avesh,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I got the one. Earlier I was using a single rotor heli which was a bit difficult to operate. So far the flights were good and nothing much. Quite a stable model with some fancy lights that I can put off from remote. Overall good experience.
