Dear Fellow members,
I have been into rc cars for last 2 years. Cars: Brushless Traxxas E-revo & Slash 2wd
The heli bug bit me ;) and I  bought a mini modelart heli to start with.
Played with it for 2-3 days 10-12 battery charges .Now i am able to land/hover /fly it without crashing it.
I am not too pleased with the controls as they are not precise.
I am planning to move forward with this flying hobby.

Should i go for 250 or 450 model
i was looking at Hiller 450 pro Belt at rcbazaar.com
link: http://rcbazaar.com/products/875-hiller-450-pro-belt-drive-super-combo-canopy-and-blades.aspx

Kindly suggest good sturdy outdoor heli kit (prefer Ready to Fly)

I am also looking out for a good tX/Tx kit- turnigy 9x.

regards,
viky

Between a 450 and 250, 450 is the obvious choice. 250 is too twitchy for a beginner.

The revelation now in terms of heli training is that the use of quad-copters are the best training vehicles for initial heli hover training !  Been seeing that more often in our flying circles recently. This is just for initial training, without spending too much time and money on crashes.

But heli flying is heli flying... they are different enough from quads when it comes to serious flying.  Quads just work as a better training platform than the small helis.
