It is java based and works on my nokia S60 3rd edition phone. Haven't tried it on a heli yet, but I have used other tools that use the same principle, so should work.

I have seen someone test this iPhone version on our field :

This is a paid app, like $2 or something.

Other useful apps (and FREE too!) that I use on the iPhone for RC/heli work are :

hi,

tried the taco meter application,

Retreived the wav file from my previous heli flying video ,

but the accuracy is not good at all.
