HK has come out with this cool product to measure heli pitch both for Flybar & for Flybarless (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__24657__Flybarless_Helicopter_Pitch_Gauge_for_use_w_Smartphone.html).
Though the name of the product says for Flybarless, could be used with ones with Flybar as well.

If this thing works, then its a boon for heli users. The traditional method is a pain.
i found you eyes are as good if not better, no ?
In the traditional method, the constant measuring (after adjusting linkage), starts hurting the eyes.
And i could never get perfect tracking after what i assume was 0 pitch on both the blades. I always had to spin it up on the bench, to confirm if blades were tracking perfect. Blade tracking and getting the pitch setup (+11 and -11) is the worst part of a heli set up!
I hope, when this tool shows 0 degrees on both blades, they do indeed track.

I go to HK "New Items" link like once a week, and pretty much every week, they have something that makes me go "Oh.. that is pretty useful!". Here is another one :
