Hi
I have assembled new TREX 600 with TT RL 53H engine and having problem with tail, it hunts up down not left right during hovering tried to adjust gyro gain but no result. can any one suggest the remedy.

You need more headspeed for that position of the throttle stick.
thax Anwar the head speed was low as i have kept the engine quite rich.
I will try it with more speed on this week end.
If u are using the training gear then you would need slightly more HS than without.
Hi there,
I had the same problem & found out that the cause was VERY EXCESS PITCH at hovering throttle position. PLEASE CHECK your pitch as measured with a pitch gauge at hovering throttle i.e. about mid stick
Regards
Pitch is something you usually measure and FIX. It is the throttle needed for that "pitch" (which I put in my earlier post as "that throttle position"), that varies, as there is no easy way to measure/calculate it.
If you are just beginning, you typically want the heli to hover around the 55% to 65% stick position.
Thax Anwar Ji
I have set the pitch around 5.5 degree at 55% throttle with lower is -5 and upper is 10.
I think the engine setting is very rich so i will try to lean out the enginea liitle bit and increase the the head speed as u suggested earlier.
THAX Mr Anwar
The problem of tail hunting solved by increasing head speed as suggested by you.
I have incresed throttle curve by 3 % on position 3 and 4 also made the engine lean by 4 clicks.
once again many thax for your valuable suggestions. :)

Glad that it worked out
Please do post some pics/videos of your flying.
