can some body tell over here what is happening ??? :help:
on a 250 size heli , i am using hk401b gyro , whenever i am giving it a throttle the tail is shaking left right :left right left right :banghead:, like a car windshield whiper but in smaller area or i can say shaking and that thing increase with the increase in throttle , wasted my many hours on goolge , but all the setting doesnt work , :banghead:,
what to do :help:, i have turnigy 9x radio
???
surprised that no fly heli or nobody use gyro???? , are they really that much tuff to to install.
what tail servo do you have?
what is the distance to ball from center of servo horn
have you spooled up with tail servo disconnected and no main blades and moved the push rod to see if tail binds or moving smooth?
is the tail blade grips correct assembled ?
do you have vibrations?
if you give a little more info on what you have tried and equipment and maybe even the brand of the heli i guess u would get more help
sounds to me a tail assembly not working to good or a crap tail servo or not enough resolution for servo to work. not a gyro issue
when i had a rexy 250 i made a new hole with a hot needle to make the ball closer to center of servo horn
model = hk 250 gt
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=9974
radio = turnigy 9x
tail servo = corona ds922 metal gear digital servo
rest servo = hxt 9 grams
gyro hk 401 b
what tail servo do you have?= corona ds 919 mg metal gear digital servo
what is the distance to ball from center of servo horn?= i think u means to say the point where the rod is attaced to servo , it is the second point , i have tried many point .., 4 horns came this servo one is wheel type horn which has many hole at different distance , tried most of them .
have you spooled up with tail servo disconnected and no main blades and moved the push rod to see if tail binds or moving smooth?=
tail binds are smooth earlier , like a bearing wheel but now due to the friction again and again they are little bit you can say less smoother , but i can fix them if they were creating problem .. , but the problem was from there when they were new also..
is the tail blade grips correct assembled ?= yes
do you have vibrations?= cant say , how to catgorised ??? ,
any more info please?????
ok move the ball as close to the center as possible. make new hole if possible. it needs to be right in there to get more resolution.
also take main blades off. keep tail blades on. disconect the tail at the tail servo spool up helicopter to max rev.
move the rod to the tail to feel if the tail bind or if it is smooth., a well balanced tail should move with no or little pressure
if you do this you also will find out if you have vibrations
Hi Vineet,
If the tail is shaking widely (huge left right movements ) then check for 2 things
1. Ensure if your Gyro is in Head lock mode and the red light is glowing
2. increase the Gyro gain on your Tx, then get to a point when it shakes become very small and then decrease the gain a couple of points.
Also if the light is not glowing you may first want to set the Tail in Rate mode (light off) and manually move the tail gyro to set correct pitch of the tail blades till their are no shakes, you set the gain thing as mentioned above in head lock mode.
I hope this helps.

ok ok cool , the heli is bit head locked now till 90% throttle when i am switching the gear switch to my side
and some of the rating i tryed in gyrosens option
mode = gy
avs or avc =40
now = 40,
but there is an another issue yes the heli is vibrating at high throttle above 90 % , i thing the main head shaft is little bit tilted from some palce (as there is no such thing except it who can create the vibration i think ) ,like to tell that no hard crashes yet buy it fell down from my hand yeterday when i was trying to fly it from my hand ,
serious ??

sory heli flyer i dont know how to set gain on my transmitter , may be i was doing it but dont know it is the technical word gain or what, so please tell me what is it ,how to set it .
reagarding light
glows contant red when = gear with is in other side , no shakes till 90% throttle
stays off = gear switch is my side .starts shaking at 60% throttle
Please watch finless bob's videos on Heli freak to understand what gain is and look for more videos on you tube on how you can set gain on your Tx. search for " Gyro gain"
