Title: hk 500gt

thinking of getting my 9 year old step son a helicopter and thinking of something cheap to crash so is it anything that doesent work in the hk 500gt kit for a total beginner?

and is it some cheap half deasent metal gear servos any 1 can recomend for cyclic from hk,

there is a set of turnigy MG's on HK.. used them on my EXI 500 and they were pretty good.. dont remember the servo names  :(

yes there are the ones that i used... they are pretty good except out of the 5 I  got one bad.. so i would suggest to order more to be on the safer side.

Clayboy dude, I'd suggest that you buy a RTR first for your nine year old - may be a 3ch Syma or a 4ch Walkera, coz the 500 size bird is pretty big for a kid and it may injure him if not handled properly.

it will b ok i use trainer mode, 2 transmitters linked until he is god enough to do it him self
