I too was excited to see that product initially. But they have been sued by captron (helicommand) successfully in Germany for cloning. There are unsubstantiated claims of KDS using the same calibration data copied from one HC device in all their products. Some claim this is the reason why some units work very well, but others don't.

That is just corporate politics, right ?  >:D

The products looks like a capable one, especially for applications like aerial photography.

I will wait some more time till they figure out how to calibrate. It should be just a matter of time before they figure it out.

The position holding doesn't work beyond a few meters high, would have been great if it works at all altitudes.

If you are getting one let us know how it works. I'm also tempted, but holding back because of the negative reports.

Sorry for digging an old thread .. is anyone using this? is this worth having ?

We have never used the above mentioned product. However, if you are looking for a simple solution, better choice would be CPD4 or co-pilot II. Please see the links below for more information. These products work for heli and airplane. Alt is no restriction. Check it out..

You can trust the radio so much until your first crash with it.

Apologies for opening an old thread, but, I have been using Flymentor on both my 450 Scales with 4 and 5 main rotors, this is a really good stab system without burning pockets.
The way to program this thing is to save the data after every step you make and not after setting the full thing and saving..I learnt this the hard way!

Money flies when the transmitter is ON...

Thanks for that. I have got them, but somehow sceptical in using it. Will Try it out on my 450 soon.
