A year back, I have found myself a dummy USB transmitter and have been trying to learn to fly on a sim. Now I am able to hover reasonably well in all orientations.

However the sim is no longer satisfying me... I really need to take something into the air.

Buying a 450 size from rcbazaar is not an option right now, because of the size. (Although I intend to later.)

Where in India can I buy a small 4 ch or 6 ch heli? It looks like customs will be a problem if I try to import one. Is the only option having a friend get it personally from outside India?

WLToys v911 are great to begin with. Cheap and nearly indestructible. You can buy them on Bangood.com for around 2500/- for RTF. But it will take 30-50 days to arrive.

Came across this website claiming to be official retailer of WLToys in India. Not sure though. Try at your own discretion.

Since you are from hyderabad you can visit jackshobbies. During my previous visit i saw a 450 and 650 or 700 size heli. I expect even small size be available.

Flipkart price is crazy  !!!  I think I got it from him for 3k or 2.7 not sure .. call them .. they have v913 as well ..
