Hello,

I'm a bit newbie in RC helicopters, i started playing with a 2ch mini helicopter, but it doesn't have too much flight time it runs out of power after 30 40 seconds... i think it might be the batteries of the remote controller, that might be low on power so it doesn't charge the heli battery very well. is this assumption correct? or is this symptom of a major problem?

I'm considering upgrading the battery to a 110mAh or 150mAh for more flight time and also changing the main rotor blades from the 2.5'' to 3.5'' or something in between. is this a good idea?

Ola'!

Have you tried changing the batteries of the Transmitter / Charger? Perhaps you could use a set of Duracell or, even better, fully charged NiMh / NiCads and see if there is a significant change in flight timings. You should at least get a 4 min flight time under normal circumstances.

If this doesn't improve things then you need to check out the battery inside the Heli. The blades have nothing to do with this, leave them alone. Bigger blades will put an extra load on your motor and other electronics.

Tchau!
