Dear all i am attaching the pics of my walkera 22#E electric heli. The problem i am facing is all the connections are ok i have checked and rechecked but only the rear rotor spins when throttle is given, the main rotors dont flinch at all. Kindly advise.  8-)

Can you get close up pictures that are in better focus ? The ones posted are too out of focus to make any diagnosis  :(

*take off the blades and try to power the motor externally (like even with a 3v batt - make sure the polarity is correct) this is jus to rule out that your motor is busted.
*check if the power to the connected right and tight to the Rx.
*flip the connections as in - put the main rotor connection to the tail rotor and see if they work

I'm jus given normal hints to finding where the problem is. maybe you've already done these.

i have tried to attach some files that might make makes things clear. could not attach high resolution images becoz of the forums size limitation. My motor is ok i have checked it

For sharp focus you need a camera with Macro Focus feature.

but i still got to keep the image size below 128 kb as per rcindia rules

The issue is not "resolution" or "size".  It is "focus".  And the solution is a camera with either "macro" facility, or enough "zoom".

You can attach JPG files that are of size 800x600 here, which is plenty.  What matters is that those 800x600 pixels provide a "close-up shot with clear focus".

shoot the pics in full focus, then take them to some image software like MS picture edit... and reduce the size there. then upload..

Have you verified your DIP switches ?  http://www.hjnet2000.com/index.php?View=entry&CategoryID=5&EntryID=27

The manual here also shows the defaults for the DIP switches and receiver wiring details http://www.heliguy.com/i/Manual.pdf on page 6 (in PDF viewer).

From a picture posted on the other forum (http://www.indiarc.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2486.0;attach=1448), I see only 3 connectors into your receiver RX-603, while you should have 4.  Can you confirm how many connectors you have going into the receiver ?

Please respond to this.  The picture http://www.indiarc.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2486.0;attach=1449 clearly shows you have not connected all 4 channels that are required.  Channel 4, which is the one that goes to the speed control and to the main motor.  So please confirm if you have done all the connections correctly.

yes I saw that too.. I thought that maybe it was pics taken during the trouble shooting.

i  had received this heli in rtf condition and all the wirings were done before hand. there is no wire left to be inserted for the fourth channel.

second_chance

so what happened finally, were you able to sort it out?

premvijay

i have tried everything that could be tried. i am giving up, think i will put it up for sale so some one more knowledgeable can fix it and fly the bird.
