Oh yeah !  Justin Chi is a big star in the heli flying scene.

Check him out at http://www.justinchi.com  {:)}

There are a few more young stars, like Alon Barak from Israel, Koden from Australia...

Justin's heli hit a spectator some time back, prompting a lot of criticism for his father, who wrote an open letter named "The Story of Justin". Justin recovered from the incident, and has continued flying.

Anwar ji,

I am very amused to see the dedication and persistance this kid has.

Normally my son is not very interested and i am very paniky when he is flying.

But kudoos to the parents for the attitude.

Justin... this time with competition maneuvers which require precise and complicated movement of the sticks. (as opposed to just stick banging 3D).

It gives me great pleasure to welcome Benny Chi, father of Justin Chi (pronounced as "Jee") to RC India   He is our latest member "red_z06" !

Congrats Benny on your sons achievements, your continuous support has played a huge part of his success.

Many of us had / have Dad's who were instrumental in instilling a love for this hobby in us. Benny is one of the last dying breeds (I hope I am wrong here). It is a great feeling to have him with us.

Welcome Benny. :salute:

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

Wow!

Thanks for the welcome guys.  ;D  :giggle:

BTW, Justin's last name is now officially changed to "Jee"
His website also changed to www.JustinJee.com  (capital letters not needed)
He placed 11th at the recent XFC 2010 competiton and hopes to do 7th next year to enter final rounds.  But, more importantly guarantee receiving a plaque.   ;D

Welcome again :)

I have one suggestion/request. It would be great if you can post more "stick cam" videos.  They do give everyone a good idea about how complicated (or simple) many of the pattern maneuvers are.

We had one done at the IRCHA 2009.  Have you seen it?   Unfortunately, most of the stick movements are too minute to learn from unless it was done to demonstrate.

Yep, I have seen that :)  But there are a bunch of new maneuvers in the recent videos that are interesting in terms of stick movement.  That I why said we want "more" videos ;)
