Some one asked for a list of spares to order with an HK 450 v2 heli.  I would like to hear from people who have just started with these helis, and have possibly had some recent crashes :)   (Am I looking at Vinay ;) )

I will add to the list if needed after getting some responses.

mine is not recent on these heli but the usual suspects in a crash are as follows
- tail boom
- feathering shaft
- main blades
- landing gear (if you are a new)
- main gear
- main shaft
- tail shaft
- belt

I would also add one flybar, and one set of linkages used in building the head (both the linkage rods and the plastic see-saw pieces).

The plastic posts used to hold the canopy in place ("canopy mounting posts") is another thing that I remember was a fairly frequent victim.

V2 Crash?  :o

Last time I was trying inverted when I crashed it. I believe I rammed the heli at +12 pitch @ 3000 + RPM (v curve) with CF blades straight to ground  ;D, Half of the head was ripped off at that speed and power.  >:D

Even the main blade holder had a thread that holds the ball link ripped off. The V2 head now ended in the spare pack so that I can reuse the links and balls etc in the future.

I suggest get yourself an MT barebones Kit  ;) if you are a serious flyer.

I believe almost all the spares required are covered by sujju, anwar. I crashed my V2 and the head was ripped off. So I suggested the MT as it contains a Metal HEAD and all the other spares suggested by sujju and anwar are in the kit. Most damaged spared as per my experiance:

Flybar, Boom, main gear, Main shaft, Blades, landing gear, Servo gears if using plastic servos, tail shaft, belt, tail blades, feathering shaft, damper rubber.

And it all depends on the crash.
