Its all about growing - pilots here have increased their budget, flying skills and need the best in the market.
we all started with align clones, moved to align and now pilots here have compass and gaui.

Hahaha Sujit not really we all have learnt the hard way switching model to model ...I ain't saying  align is total trash it has its own segment of utility....if ur gonna fly sport are on a budget ...or just a align fan go in for align ....their electronics do the job but when u really start getting the real feel in air it will go slow on u  ...not a fan of 3gx feels more like the zyx  :-\ ...then comes the question of the quality of the heli itself ....u want a heli that can take a beating in air and when it hits the ground ....u need a bird that comes with all the goodness without any aftermarket upgrades and am talking mechanical not electronic ....then comes their price its very low no doubt.   But there is no point buying their stuff plus getting electronic and mechanical upgrades done raising the overall final price of the bird ...I don't mean to bash on align guys and half of u might be wondering  y I said stay away from align ....when u reach a point more than sport and more than doing an inverted flight u would then feel the difference in air and will know how every small thing matters ...right up from big things like motors ...to the smallest like dampners n blades and stuff ...even tail blades makes a lot of difference .....u can feel this when ur totally connected with the heli ....its also bout personal preference ....in my opinion its better to save up n put in a 200$ more than to go cheap n have costlier upgrades ...well I do give credit to the 700 and 800 pros

I have given this analogy before.  It is exactly like a Hyundai versus a  Toyota versus a BMW, with Align being the Toyota.

I had practiced to a level of 3D where I was doing most of the common maneuvers without the worry of the heli breaking mid-air using Align.  Most people in India should be more than satisfied with the Toyota/Align.

Anything more than that should come after achieving a higher level of flight skills, which I have not yet seen any Indian flier yet.  Of course, if you have money, no one will stop you from spending it on the BMW ;)

as anwar sir said buy according to your flying style ....but if u get better dont enter in the circuit with a Toyota u wont last a lap ....if u can get the best in quality review ur products before you buy ..kudos

Fact is that there is no one entering F1 laps in India that I have seen so far.

So the question is about nudging people to overspend on things that they do not really need, except as a matter of preference (not need).  Remember that if you doing serious 3D, you must be crashing once a month at least ;)  and the differences add up quickly.

haha no sir there are people who have entered the race but are still low i guess they might show up on the radar by this year end  ;).....as far as crashing goes i dont think its is necessary to crash even in hard 3d ...if u know what u doing and u know how to bailout of a situation many crashes are avoided ....  when learning any new maneuver people  should first think bout how to bailout incase things go wrong saves ur heli everytime ..... ;D....if you  want electronics to do the bailout for u get the MSH BRAIN ,BAVARIAN DEMON 3SX,SKOOKUM 720,VBAR 6 ..u get what u pay for ...still prefer the manual bailout :P ......the main question is how does the heli handle a crash ..how many parts go down when i crash .....every heli has different crash tolerance ....as per experience align falls low on this list   :)
