Thanx Iyer sir & Doc..

FlyJo- Yes, I m still a learner and it will never gonna stop for sure, its a never ending process.
I m doin some smack very low, inverted forward and backward low passes etc. are new manuevers which are nt on videos..

Yes, this Aamby Valley was nt at all gud for my heli flying (2 crashes) first crash on day one due to bad lite at 6.00pm (there was no heli slot for us in day, ther was but planes are flying at that time), wrong correction in backward inverted low pass hitting rotor on tarmac.  Repaired the same and flew it on day three, in second flight engine bogged in second backward roll and it went down...

Having some vibration on my Trex 600n DFC causing Beastx some probs. Want to order some parts but waiting for doller to come down a bit...

Harveer , buddy again i want to clarify my comments where not directed at anyone , for me you were someone representing Indore/India at that movement , and i expressed what i felt , i would love to see more advanced/expert flying by fellow aeromodellers , my intentions are patriotic  ;D

i wish you all the luck and hope to see you fly "hard smack 3d stuff" at the nxt ambi event

How about posting videos of practices and attempts of heli 3d flying , by doing so the help part doctor mentioned "Another reason MAY be that apart from sim practice sometimes you really need a person who has already done a manouevre to help you out... We in India dont have it " could be solved to some extend , iam sure 3d flyers like Harveer ,Shannon and  Noam could be of great help for a beginner making an effort to get into 3d

Harveer

No grudges boss... i'll up some videos whn i start flying again..

FlyJo

Harveer buddy , "No grudges boss" sounds a lill incongruous , i don't know you personally  nor am i someone who is trying to compete against you , i was putting on some facts and ironically its taken a turn towards some preeminence being hurt ,i put up this post in good faith not as Joe"s Paradox  ;D ;D

In India buying a S-class is equal  to owning a rolls product in the US and many other presumably rich nations, even in this financially critical time  the highest number of merc and bmw's sold was in India, roti kapda aur makan applies to every human in this planet , everyone justifies their problems and in fact their justifications sounds like a self consolation towards their slow progress, rather than trying to overcome the issue (in this case mainly would be spares) other than that maintenance/time/money apply equally to ever Rc pilot in this world , its a game of skill for others excuses are in abundance u can pick any

Quotemaintenance/time/money apply equally to ever Rc pilot in this world
If sponsorship comes in, then this is not true. I do not think any 3D master, wastes time building a heli.

u  have to reach a certain level for sponsorship Raja ,its not a lucky draw selection ,

again as i said its a game of skill for others excuses are in abundance u can pick any

raja_mastana

QuoteIf you get to a significant level quickly and attract sponsorship initially itself, then you are set. Otherwise it is an uphill battle, and most people give up for various reasons.
Its already mentioned earlier, no need to repeat.
I think there are at-least a few who are at that level, but no sponsors i can see to bring them up

put up their video , let everyone decide ,  this thread is all about getting the hidden talent if any,out in the open , iam sure if he/she is eligible there are many to back their talent

FlyJo

In this 2 page discussion only Harveer and Noam's name popped up , Raja iam sure you knew about Harveer and never heard about Noam , who are the eligible few you are talking about , also i hope you know how sponsorship works , no sponsorship is awarded for you to learn 3d till you excel, you become a master the sponsorship comes looking for you

+1 joe ......to get sponsored u need to build ur skills first then display them to the world 'jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai '....why would any brand sponcer if they have not seen any potential in ur flying ...no company is going to sponcer u to learn 3d and reck their helis ....they will only sponcer u when u show ur skills and help in pushing the limits of their birds and then represent them at an national or international level....sujjit ur wrong on this one almost all the 3d masters build and setup the helis with their own hands bobby watts bert kammerer ...even tareq setup and build his own birds .....to be a great pilot u need to know how reliable is  ur bird and tht is only possible if u have built it and taken necessary steps to ensure its well built .....if somebody had to build helis for them they would have bought prebuilt factory kits in the first place .....the blade helis ..... well its a good idea to promote 3d and videos will be a great way to do it

I think u are generalizing ur statement, its about priorities. Recently a friend of mine who started with 3d has stopped flyin or is taking a break. Reasons obviously his family n other important things. Priority or excuse, U decide???

You cant compare the conditions here in India and America. In whole Delhi, we have not been able to locate a nice grass covered field for over a year now. Be it Mundka or Noida or Gurgaon field. The cost of maintenance will be sky high.

First of all happy Friendship day to all  :), Doctor sahab ,my comments are all in general not directed at anyone in precise, let me comment based on the reply's ,this post is 4 days old and viewed by 700+ members  of our rc community , my question was simple No good 3d heli pilots in India? , handful replied including Harveer  acknowledging  he is still learning and practice is going strong , Anwar though he is not residing in India expressed his opinions, you are going to be back with practicing 3d soon  as you find time , Shannon is going slow because of  finance and his studies , Raja is finding  it difficult to keep up with align maintenance suggestion's due to time constrain, according to you it seems like all others you know have lost interest and the rest are in some problem which slows them down or force them to either quit or take a break , this is happening to Indian pilots only because ?
1)Age  can be a influence, as we age we get wiser but our reflexes  slows down , younger heli pilots are few, can be because of the finances required or lack of guidance,  by the time they become self-sufficient and afford a good heli they are already juggling between societal and work related priorities and of course your reflexes slows down too ,
2) Dedication is a  frequently used word in Rc, but how many actually follow it , its not at all easy to fly 3d it takes years or daily practice and perseverance , which also includes maintenance /upgrade of your machine's, a lot of pilots are lost here because  they come in with super enhanced fortitude watching a 3d masters video which soon weaken as they realize the arduousness involved
3) Space can be a issue too but we are discussing about India as a country not only the cities , I think there are more rc groups and pilots in smaller towns across India than in the bigger metros ,

Fly Joe,

I think you missed the biggest factor which is affecting Indian pilots, Family. Indians are highly emotional humans across the globe, so family plays a major role in your ablity to fly considering howmuch support do you get .plus there is no hurry as there are not many competetions happening where the stakes are high. this hobby especially with heli flying is still at its evolution stage.

You should be happy with the fact that we dont give up :-)

Btw..in your signature it seems you have evrything why dont you upload your video so we know if there is another master :-)
Helis and Quads ROCK !!
