Wonderful engineering, isnt it?

Truly

Never had tried to look into them in full scale, except in the rare chances of seeing them up close and personal in real.

I think the real ones have a more heavy-duty version of ball links. See this : http://www.b-domke.de/AviationImages/Rotorhead/14966-2.html
Looks like the linkages attach to bearings on each sides rather than the balls.

WOW Guys....these are awesome details.... {:)} never thought of going into the details of the actual birds...!!!

I guess if given a chance to blow-up the parts upto 10 times the size of our 600s and 700s we can build a proper Heli from scratch which we can fly ourselves, wont be that tough for us... :giggle:

On a serious note, being a Junior Pilot and a Airport Engineer (by education) I have flown an actual Cesna (5 hours flight time) and a Piper (7.5 Hours) when I was in the flying school 5 years back. Its very much like our small scale birdies, just that you cannot afford to crash those... ;)

Always wanted to be a Heli Pilot but due to some unforeseen circumstances could not do that, that is where I am catering to my hunger by a RC Heli....
