I am planning to upgrade to a V911 helicopter from a Syma s107g three channeled helicopter.

But the videos that I have seen of the v911 on youtube show it to be a very fast moving craft, too hard too control indoors. Is this true?

Another thing I have noted in the youtube videos of the v911 is that the helicopter banks immediately to the left on take off and it has to be immediately counteracted by the right stick. is this true?

How is your experience with the v911 if you have one?

Well dear if the blades are rotating from left to right as viewed from the cockpit...... on all helicopters one will need to do a small back and right correction during pickup.  As a routine helicopter Pilots call cyclic right and back and do it practically before picking up from the ground.  Once in a hover it is stable with the already given correction.
OR ELSE the helicopter will always pitch down and move to the left.
Well I been into aeromodelling since I was in School....  and then been in the air for over 30 years.  Now looking to be back into aeromodelling full time...

Yes it banks immediately to the left on take off but once you do a small correction and on air it's stable. Even while in air, you need to keep giving minor corrections to keep it in control. It is a fast helicopter to fly indoor in a small room :)

So I should power up the left stick of the v911 simultaneously with the right stick slightly turned towards the right?

don't overthink it.

the V911 is one of the easiest helis to fly and it is quite tough - able to withstand
crashes without breaking.

provided you have normal reflexes and coordination - you will be able to fly it within 5 minutes.

Don't think to much, a kid could fly t that super stable heli

DO not worry much about the need to give a right stick.  Just take it in your stride and continue.  I will prefer you do not give any compensation about it on the RC Set.  Actually all helicopter pilots flying helicopters which have the Main rotors rotating from left to right as seen from the cockpit.... actually call out cyclic right and back before doing a pickup.... this removed the tendency of pitch down and drift to the port.

Once in air it stabilises and is no more a worry.

Happy and safe flying.
