Hi,

Just wanted to share my first experience ever with fixing a broken (severly) toy (i can't call this 9053 a heli considering this place is full of people with a lot of mean machines).

Couple of days back while flying this heli with my 2.5year kid watching and enjoying the flight a sudden change in wind situation caused a blade strike while the heli was about 70ft above ground. It crashed on the road face down, breaking every thing.

Both main motors came out hanging, battery was hanging like a mango from a tree, canopy was in two peices, it was a very bad sight. This is my second heli (first was also 9053), i was confident after having few bad crashes on my first heli that i won't be crashing it, but it happened.

At first i almost gave it up, thinking its taking too much of my time and energy, and its actually taking my focus away from my normal work life, where i am mostly seen browing hobby king, drooling over those mean machines, watching flights on youtube etc.

Anyways, today i sat down and gave this serious operation a go, taking out parts from my first 9053 and trying to fix my second heli. End result was pretty impressive, you can see the photos attached :)

I had to do some major assembly to repair the kit, considering this was my first ever on a heli, it got me very excited and happy as i was able to hover this heli again after the repairs. It seems i have started to like this thing, i hope i keep getting some spare time and lot of encouragement from my son (every time i mention helicopter to him, his instant reaction is: Papa, big helicopter fly)
